The ideas for this series of four “ Mini Morraines” were researched and developed while travelling in a camper van around the most northern part of Scotland in the Summer of 2020
Wonderful random boulders strewn about the Scottish landscape started to fascinate me. These, I found out, were called Moraines. Stones that all started somewhere and ended somewhere else, carried and deposited by the huge force and current of a glacier and deposited during its melt around 15,000 years ago.
