One Thousand Degrees is a hanging sculptural installation made as a final piece for my master’s degree. It is made of bronze, forged steel, cast glass and copper. Feelings of tension, transition, and energy transference are contained within its construction. The abstract forms are reminiscent of the unusual beauty that I find in agricultural debris. The three different sculptures are reflections on how our family structure changes in support and significance through our lives. (photos: Jacqui Hirst)
